In 2009, before a family member’s house was to be torn down, Jose Caceres’ wife had a spontaneous idea—gather the rest of the family, and have some fun by painting the walls of the house together. They painted over the ten months prior to demolition, covering each white space of the 10,000 sq. foot house with doodles and murals.
